I have accumulated hands-on experience through the investigation of collision and crime scenes, since 1980. First with the U.S. Army and then with the Pennsylvania State Police.

I have attended and continue to attend training classes in order to further my technical knowledge in the collision and investigative fields.

I have reconstructed crime scenes to include homicides and have been qualified as an expert witness in court. I have been involved in the investigation of more than 100 death cases, including homicides, suicides, accident and suspicious deaths.

I have reconstructed fatal and near fatal collisions and have been qualified as an expert in local, Commonwealth and federal courts. I have been involved in the investigation of more than 500 collisions, including over more than 50 fatal collisions.

I have supervised both criminal investigation and patrol units for the Pennsylvania State Police. I have served as acting Station Commander at Swiftwater and Uniontown stations. I have served as the Patrol Section Commander for Troop “B” for an extended period of time, supervising over 350 employees. I have had direct supervision of more than 60 employees as a Sergeant with the Pennsylvania State Police.
